Montenegrin Footballer of the Year
The title Footballer of the Year has been yearly awarded in Montenegro since 2006. The award is determined by the Teamcaptains and the Coaches of the Prva Crnogorska Liga and is published by the Football Association of Montenegro. Eligible are all Montenegrin players.
The most successful player is Mirko Vučinić, who was choiced 7 times as Player of the Year. He was also the first to receive this award.
By the age of 20 years at his first election in 2009, Stevan Jovetić is the youngest player to receive this honor so far.
